Pastor Pat Mecham

Ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1980, Pastor Pat served in a variety of ministries, including working with youth, running a campus ministry, being an associate minister, and serving as solo pastor.  When he and his wife Melissa retired in 2022, they climbed into their motorhome and traveled the US, seeing friends and family, visiting wonderful places all over this big country of ours.

Another exciting opportunity came in June of '23: an invitation to preach a couple of Sundays in Truckee!  That eventually got stretched into a longer commitment to Truckee Lutheran/Presbyterian Church while they sought a pastor.  On September 1, TLPC began a new chapter in their history when they began holding their worship services in the sanctuary at the Church of the Mountains.  And, since COM is also searching for a pastor, he has gladly stepped into a temporary role with them as well!

Now, the two churches are seeking one person who will pastor both congregations.  We are certain that God will provide just the right person to lead these ministries.  Until they find that person, Pastor Pat is ready (and delighted) to serve!
